Reservations

The following special service items have been harmonised by all Star Alliance member carriers.


Wheelchairs
Should be requested at time of reservation. Will be confirmed by the individual carrier (e.g. WCHR / WCHS / WCHC).


Passenger Contact (PCTC)
If permitted by law, to be used in reservation messages.


Special Meals
A minimum list of special meals will be offered by all Star Alliance member carriers. Exceptions may apply on certain routes and carriers.


Seat Requests
All carriers can create and respond to generic and specific seat requests (if applicable for the fare and market booked).


Checked Baggage Policy
See the Airport Information section for details on free checked baggage allowances and carrier specific information about special checked baggage items.


Flight Information (FLIFO)
Access to real-time movement flight information can be provided via the individual carrier’s in-house reservation system.


Passenger Name Records (PNRs)
Bilateral Passenger Name Records servicing exists between the Amadeus carriers, between UA, LX, SN and LH/OS (only applies to UA airport workers who use native Share to access PNR Servicing).


Availability Display
A common Star Alliance availability display containing only Star Alliance member carriers’ flights is available in Amadeus, Galileo, Infini, Apollo, Sabre, Abacus, Travelsky and Worldspan.
